Hello Aqua, As usual, I was too fast to try out and did not read carefully what you had written. My SystemProfiler is now :
Hardware Overview:
Machine Name: Intel inside G5 case MOBO Gigabyte: 965P-DS3P Processor Name: Intel® Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 Original Speed: 2.4 GHz overclocked @ 3.27 GHz Total Number Of Cores: 4 L2 Cache: 2x4 Mb Graphic Card: Nvidia GeForce 7900 GTO 512 Mb Ram Memory: OCZ Flex DDR2 @ 800 Mhz overclocked @ 913 Mhz WaterCooled Overclocked Bus Speed: 1.46 GHz Boot ROM Version: Hack.88Z.int.0sh.061193037 (Award Software International, Inc.)
Now I have understood. You can change anything you want. As long as you replace the left column first separate by ; and then replace the right column. For example to change the seventh line, from :
Processor Features: FPU VME DE PSE TSC MSR PAE MCE CX8 APIC SEP MTRR PGE MCA CMOV PAT PSE36 CLFSH DS ACPI MMX FXSR SSE SSE2 SS HTT TM SSE3 MON DSCPL VMX EST TM2 SSSE3 CX16 TPR PDCM
to Graphic Card : Nvidia Geforce 9700 GTO 512 Mb
I have changed : platform_cpu_features = "Processor Features";
to platform_cpu_features = "Graphic Card";"FPU VME DE PSE TSC MSR PAE MCE CX8 APIC SEP MTRR PGE MCA CMOV PAT PSE36 CLFSH DS ACPI MMX FXSR SSE SSE2 SS HTT TM SSE3 MON DSCPL VMX EST TM2 SSSE3 CX16 TPR PDCM"="Nvidia Geforce 9700 GTO 512 Mb";

Congratulations, "RAM @ 1000MHz" sound nice ! I reduced it to 913MHz now. Those are the figures I used in the BIOS : CPU Clock Rate : 9x (can not been changed) edit : 9x as maximum, can be reduced. CPU Host Frequency (MHz) : 365 PCI Express Frequency (MHz) : 100 System Memory Multiplier (SPD) : 2.50 Memory Frequency (MHz) 800 : 913 Normal Overvoltage for all : DDR2, PCI-E, MCH, FSB; CPU Voltage and Normal CPU Vcore : 1.3000V My Quad CPU Q6600 2.4GHz is oveclocked @ 3.27GHz

I finaly got the original G5 back fans working, i put some pictures to show how @ insanelymac.com In fact the are six cables, two doubles, made with one wire from each fan and four singles, two per fan. Between the 4 combinations ony one will work : one double to the yellow wire (12V) , one double to black wire (neutral) and one of the singles to the red one (5V), the other single does not need to be connected, it is for the tours per min counter.I start with the doubles in position and tried one single at a time, did not work, then switch the position of the doubles and tried again with one single wire and the fan started. Did the same for the other fan and then connect the two fans on the same plug, the two singles wires on the same connector.[/quote] I have just realized that the connections were made after I unplugged the wires. Here I used a spare pair of fans to show the connections with the wires in the original place forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=27712With the plug in this position, connectors numbered from 1 to 6 starting from the bottom , the connections are : 1 to black : RPM fan A 2 to red : 5V fan A 3 to yellow : 12V both fans 4 to black : neutral both fans 5 to black : RPM fan B 6 to red : 5V fan B views from the Molex plug : @ 12 V speed, which is little loud forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=27711@ 5 V speed, which is a little less loud forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=277101 to black : RPM fan A 2 to red : 5V fan A 3 to red : 5V both fans 4 to black : neutral both fans 5 to black : RPM fan B 6 to red : 5V fan B

Some updates: I got all the LCS parts I ordered, just missing the connectors for the graphic card; coming later from Paris. Bought on eBay US the full housing from a LCS G5 Dual 2.7GHz, including the Delphi pump, still have to test it. Bought from Hally_57 (insanelymac) a Mac Pro case with wrongly bended feet and hands, but the internals and outside are in perfect status, with the front panel. I will use aquamac way to connect it using the sata cable and the Power supply connectors : www.s155158671.websitehome.co.uk/Resources/macprousbconnecta.jpegwww.s155158671.websitehome.co.uk/Resources/macprofrontpanela.jpegThis case will become the housing for the LC system for the Hack, plus four extra's HDD. I will use the rad from the G5 and the Delphi pump covered by the G5 dual panel. Just finished this night 4am to screw and rived some L metal profile to support everything. Will post pictures later on insanelymac.com. ;D

Here we go for a first serie of latest pictures : The external part whith the hands and feet seperated from the inner housing. The feet are definetely wrongly bended. I will try to get them in better position. The upper hands are in good position Two pictures showing the separation of the inner housing and the hands and feet. The inner housing alone which will be used as housing for the LCS for the Hackintosh. The original G5 CPU fans and the LCS rad from a watercooled dual 2,7GHz are attached inside the inner housing with the original double G5 cover. On the right side, you see the two fans I attached at the back of the case. The upper one is a spare Thermaltake for watercooling which will cool down the four extra HDDs for the Hackintosh and at the bottom, the original Mac Pro PSU fan which will help to cool down the rad. I will hide the PSU area with a bended piece of mesh panel as I have done for the upper side of the Hack, see futher pictures. I will do the same to hide the left side of the CPU fans where the water pump will come, at first the Thermaltake I am using now and later when fixed, the original Laing and the right side of the rad to cover the fans and maybe one piece for the space between the bottom of the HDD's and the top of the CPU fans and rad. The waterblocks for the Voltage regulators The waterblocks for the Bridges (North and South) Because I will use the nervouschimp method to connect the Mobo connectors to the back of the case, I had to move the Mobo closer to the front of the case and so to detach the third and fourth HDD's and to move them to the Mac Pro case. You can see how I used the upper face from the MDD HDD tray combined to the G5 HDD's tray to attach them under the upper part of the case. I used two pieces of bended mesh panel to hide the optical drive, HDD's fan and the upper HDD's inside the G5 case which houses the Hack Two views of the mesh pannel at the bottom of the G5 case. Not yet perfect; can be improved. . The left side is OK Will put pictures of the G5 rad and the new Mobo tray later.
