LOL! I'm a filemaker developer.. i write database solution software.. very boring... One of my long lasting Clients is a Medical Packaging company there engineering department build the machines that pack (pouch production and contract packing "thermo form") the goods.
Being the resident Computer wiz I get alot of help requests from staff with there own equipment.. I help them out and in return they help me out when i need things..
The laser cutter woulod have been ace... but its mad! its a huge machine that runs of blueprints... you then program where and what is cut. instead one of the directors took a jigsaw to it! lol.... I didnt stress its value... and luckly he did a great job..
I ordered my DFI bored and a couple fan filters... gonna test all components out of the case first.. everyone.... fingers crossed!

Hi Aquamac! It's very very good!!!
I've one question only: The mobo that you are using is only for crossfire and don't support sli. It's differebt when you install osx?
Thanks and keep the good work,
Manuel Barbosa Portugal

Hi msb0812,
It is not a problem in OSX as sli is not functional as there are no drivers available, so the cards are seen as individual cards, the best you can get is to run 4 monitors (I am running 2 x 20" screens + a 37" PLASMA for watching films and BBC iplayer works surprisingly well!

Had to register just to say...wooahh! Topnotch-king-like-world-domination etc aquamac great job! Finally! A PC built into a...Mac! Keeping all its advantages, looks, design, airflow. As it should be, I think. It runs cold down my back thinking, just how much effort is put into these projects. Are you going to cover the ramcage for better airflow?

Thanks for your comments Uncle and by the way, welcome to the aquamac forums!
Yes I have thought about filling the ramcage with clear perspex. Would be nice with a "black Apple" logo cut into it or perhaps reversed!
Or possibly Brushed alloy with hex head screws holding it in - hmm I'll have a play.

Would be nice with a "black Apple" logo cut into it or perhaps reversed! Or possibly Brushed alloy with hex head screws holding it in - hmm I'll have a play. I've been planning that for some time.. I'm using alloy (1mm) to plug the hole but it require a lip like finish around the edge to have it fit flush from the back side.. (so its smooth as you look at it) it also require access to the thumb screws holding the RAM cage in place. i have worked this bit out yet.. Option One: I have half circles cut out where the thumb screw are allowing enough some to tighten/remove them. Option Two: I fit the hole ally plug on a string hinge holding it in a flush finish then just push the bottom end in to show the RAM Cage screw. Ive not decided on the alloy finsh.. I'd love to have it match but i cant see that happening.. Was thinking a high shine gloss Black with a laser engraved (alloy) 'Hack Pro' apple font logo.. could get priceeee. I'll upload some shots of my WIP. J.

Aquamac, I love this pro build. I am as well currently doing one as well. I am though putting an Asus Rampage Gene III in mine though so I don't need to make any lower cuts for mobo space. I am really interested though in the rear IO you made. Was that 3 pieces that you put together or was it a one piece mill job? As all I was to cut out on mine would be the rear IO section as well and your idea for that is genius!
