If you double click on the pen drive, can you see the "boot" file. Also is your bios set to IDE and "compatible"?

Try pasting the latest version of Chameleon from Netkas.org into the pen drive (not inside the Extra folder) in the root of the pen drive. You will probably want to install the GTX 260 as well.

Hello AquaMac, I have the P6T7 and thanks to great and helpful work by you and others have a very productive OS X system running on it.
I do have a few remaining issues that i wonder if you also see and if you have solutions for.
1) Though i now have the Marvell eSATA showing in system profile, if i ever plug a drive in to them and boot, the computer boots up and runs very very slowly and lagged. Completely unusable. Unplugging the drive and rebooting and everything is back to normal. Do you have Marvell eSATA working properly?
2) Have you updated to the latest 0504 bios? Would updating to this bios require a re-created DSDT?
Of course it would also be wonderful to see SAS support but those drivers dont seem to exist for OS X.
Thanks for any help you can provide! g\

Hello Aquamac, thanks for your time helping us on this,
I have a P6T7 and I don't get passed the wheel on the startup grey screen. I get the stop sign after a while.
It looks like a few other fellows got PMs from you in regards to working things out with the P6T7, can you fill us in, I'm quite eager to get SL working on my end.
Thanks,
Kikourof

Hi Aquamac,
Thanks to you and everyone else who contributed to this posting, it has allowed me to get a somewhat working P6T7 in Snow Leopard. I am stil having some challenges with audio in 10.6.2
My question is specific to the recently posted 607 BIOS on ASUS' site. Can you or someone else post a fixed DSDT for that BIOS? Should the existing DSDT work?
FYI, I could not boot with your DSDT but the one posted by mohammadkoush does work.
Thanks, Atomic

Here is a USB installer for the P6T7. It is what I use to get everything working on this board. You should install it to a USB pen drive. It needs to be used with an Apple vanilla install of 10.6.2. If your install already has Chameleon and an Extra folder or modified com.apple.boot.plist on your hard drive, they will need to be removed. You then need to set your bios to boot from the USB pen drive, it will find your OSX drive and boot it. Download P6T7 USB Pendrive InstallerYour graphics card will show as a GTX 285 for now but providing this works, that can be changed. I suggest trying on a backup drive. You will need to boot and clear any kext caches. Audio will only work if you don't have the latest Mac Pro 4,1 audio update, (unless your hack is set as a Mac Pro 4,1 you won't have this). If you do, use kext helper to install this version of the kext: Modified Apple HDA Kext Mac Pro 4,1 update
