I have made an installer to get snow leo working.
Download this:
Removed - See below for updated download - post No 7.
and install to a USB flash drive. Set your bios to boot from this flash drive - this will boot a retail disk that has been backed up with disk utility to another disk. You should be able to install to a std hard drive then.

Thank you for posting this... I just got a p6t7 and I am new to the hackintosh world and would like to try this out. Do i need to format the usb drive any way for this? or are there any instructions in another thread?

Yes format your USB pendrive as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and as GUID. Then right click the drive and select "Get Info" then uncheck 'ignore permissions", you will have to Click the padlock and enter your password.
Then install. If you have your own GFX strings already, and you cannot boot fully, you may have to replace the apple.com.boot.plist with your own. Give it a go first though.

Ok thanks for that detail! I did this on an iMac and then plugged it into my asus. I get to boot menu then select usb pendrive to boot. It looks like it wants to load but then it says it is missing boot mgr? and asks to restart with control+alt+delete. I also realized that there isn't any support for ati 5800 cards yet and I have that card installed. I do have a GTX 260 that I can drop in but I think I am doing something wrong with the usb drive because of the error I am getting. If you have any other thought on this let me know. I appreciate your help! I will also check the rest of the forums
