I have installed Leo on my Hack using a modified variation of the Boot 132 method and the OS seems to be very stable. Everything works to my liking but the information in my system profiler is screwed. I saw an article by aquamac on another board, InanelyMac I think, that describe how to change the info via the System/Library/SystemProfiler. I have found the folder System Profiler but can not find the SPPlatformReporter.spreporter/Contents/Resorces/English.Iproj within the folder, see pic below.  Can some one help me because I would like to fix my System Profiler information. Thanks theSportsGeek |

The file you're looking for is the third vertical on the third line, @ the level of All Images and All Movies on your picture. Check my thread starting at the 10 reply : here to see how to acess to it. |

The serial number is something else. I never touch it.

bb I would like for my "About this Mac" to read as a Power Mac Quad, that's the case in which I'm working on to place my Hack in (I couldn't find a reasonably priced Mac Pro case). If not as a Quad Power Mac at least for the info to be correct. Next I would like my Hardware Overview to read as a Power Mac Quad (or at least be correct)Pic is just used as an example. Lastly I would like for my Audio to look correct. 1st choice to look like a Power Mac Quad. If not a PM Quad than at least for it to be correct. Thanks for the help |

I got it to work. I had to reboot my Hack before I saw the changes. Thanks for all of your help.
