9800 GX2 x 2 in a Quicksilver.

I've been concentrating on trying to get this working in my Quicksilver Hackie.

2 x 9800 GX2's ! I have all cards recognized but am still struggling with QE & CI:



I can only boot in safe mode or by removing GeForceGA.kext. All 4 screens are working if I do this!

If I boot normally I am sticking where the screen turns blue at boot. It is driving me nuts!

I which I could help you. I only understand that if you can boot in safe mode that means there is a problem with the extensions. I know you will kill the beast and find the solution.

Hi bb,

I probably need a little time away from it really, sometimes things come to you. I spent 5 evenings on it but at least I know know how to get the strings going for multiple cards. In the end, it may be that Apples drivers have a problem with the bridge chip on the card. Maybe this can be overcome with a Nvidia mach_kernel. I have looked around for one but cannot seem to find such a thing.

far out i hope you can get this working. if i could, i'd help, because if the price/performance of a gtx280 isn't justifiable, i'd be getting one/two of these
