G'Day everyone, this is my first post on this forum, so sorry if its not quite the right protocol to ask questions this way. But here goes: I am running Kalyway Leo 10.5.1 with efi and vanilla, have tried the drivers from the Sitecom site, but they do not seem to install properly? I have even gone to the expense of ringing their expensive help desk, with no real clarification. I hope one of you guys has a solution, otherwise I am stuck with cabled internet for all eternity, please help, any and all help will be greatly appreciated, cheers, Plucka 29-01-08 Have gotten it to work, using www.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Macintosh.html the first driver in the list, only the airport icon does not appear in the task bar? Anyone know how to get Hackintosh to see my Sitecom base station? Hi Pluka,
Welcome to aquamac forums! Ralink cards will not show the airport icon in the menubar as std. However, someone has written a driver that does look like the airport driver. Something I saw the other week, I just have to find it again. Will reply again if I can find the thread over at Insanely mac.

Hi Pluka, I have made a download link to the file I was telling you about. I have not tried this as I do not have a Ralink card. Reinstall the driver from the site you said worked then follow the instructions in the download here. Really don't know if this is any help - let me know.

Hey Aquamac,
Thanks, the program I told you about is still installed, do I have to install this over the top of it? I know its off topic, but might you have a solution for my bluetooth dongle, it works, the problem is at start up its not seen, I have to pull it out and plug it back in again to activate it?
Hope to hear from you soon, thanks again for you speedy replies, cheers mate, Plucka

Yes as far as I know, you leave the driver in position and install the stuff in the download. There may be a replug program too for the USB dongles that simulates unplugging/replugging just after startup. Saw that ages ago, may take a trawl to find it again but I will look.

Thanks again mate, I will give it a go, see what happens, as far as the Bluetooth goes it not a thing that annoys me but it should work properly I guess. I must compliment you on an excellent site, your project looks really awesome, I have my system built in to an inwin F430 Ferrari case, also very cool , but no where near as cool as your build. Cheers, Plucka

Hi Plucka,
Is your dongle plugged into a hub or straight into the back of the computer? Bluetooth dongles do not play nicely with hubs. Turn your computer off with the dongle not plugged in. Switch on and boot up then power down again. Switch on again and get to the desktop, then plug the dongle into one of the USB 1.1 ports directly into the back of the computer. Uninstall any bluetooth devices and re-install them and reboot. Let me know how it goes.
