Hi folks, I have been searching for a Waterblock that fits onto my Single 1Ghz G4 MDD CPU. It has triangle 3 holes and I have'nt found a Block with that type of Mounting. Does anybody know of a Waterblock or has maybe an idea of what could fit with a couple of Mods, If so let me know. Thanks for all the help. ;D

Dopeman, Nothing is going to fit a Mac out of the box (Am I wrong?) so... I would download Aquas water block adapter drawings as a start. Also, here is my Rev 1.0 water block adapter for my DA. This is a quickie I built to test some ideas but I'm liking it more and more. It might give you some ideas. You will have to imagine the water block of your choice attached (I'm leaning toward a Swiftech Apogee GT), plus any studs, spacers, etc. to make it fly but it's a start. Cheers, Chris P.S. I took all my dimension off of my original 466 mHz daughter card.

Hi Folks, thanks for the help, I think the only good CPU Block is the Koolance CPU-300-H06. OK with a self made adapter it would fit. Looks Like Koolance are the only Good things for Mac Watercooling Projects. I saw what Aqua-Mac did with Aquagate Mini R80 & R120 but I don't like the System. I bought a 120 mm Radiator and a Laing DDC Pro Pump wich is Pretty small and quiet. If Anyone has other Interesting Links to any MDD Watercooling Project you are welcome to post them. OK I'll check out if I can get it here in Germany, Koolance is at the moment not so Big here and if you do find stuff on ebay it's pretty expensive.

What about a ZALMAN ZM-GWB3 GPU Kühler. It's for VGA Cards but it's got a very promising Design.

reddrag0n, Just jerking your chain. Actually, the overtime fairy just visited and sprinkled 20 hours a week worth on me for the next few months (lots of titanium parts in my future) so I can afford a cooler and a steak! Thanks for the awesome link. Cheers, Chris

As I said in this thread : Moving my MDD into a G5 case and watercooling I am working on a watercooling bloc inserted inside a MDD heatsink. The great part of the job is done, still the final touch to do and painting. Pictures are coming this week-end... ;D

Look forward to seeing this installed in your case. You should get some low temps I think!

I will test it inside the Mirror and sell the MDD parts to start a Hackintosh. I bought already the MOBO, same as yours, Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6.

Don't forget to get yourself a Sata to IDE converter for the DVD drive. They are fairly cheap, but you will need it for installation!
