Longtime Lurker - aqua's GFI strings got my 8800GT running on my XBX2 hand-loaded hack, 3 years ago.

Retiring that box, building a new one - would like to RAID-0 2X 600GB/SATA 6 Velociraptors.

Does this procedure apply to a fresh lion install still?: aquamac.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=hack1&action=display&thread=613

Are there any updated procedures for Lion?

Figured it out.

Your published method works. I'm using the TonyMacX86 method - www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=168&t=36722&p=238925#p238925 which includes copying the /extra folder to the helper partition...
