Hi guys,
I have an oboard ati card that is not being supported by os x, I have installed a 2nd graphics card, gf 8400 gs 512 mb pci (dvi + svideo + vga) but I cannot get it to work.
Changing order to init display card to search PCI bus first does not help, the computer always boots the onboard video card and it cannot be disabled in bios. This is what is causing the problem.
Injectors don't work and I can't figure out how to create a correct EFI string.
I have the following lspci output: 03:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: nVidia Corporation GeForce 8400 GS [10de:06e4] (rev a1)
Anyone can help me to create an EFI string?
Is there any option to disable a video card in os x like windows has? To allow the os to reclaim the shared memory that the onboard gpu uses?
Thanks a lot guys!
