Need Help on FCP & Audio Profiler Problem

Hi alll.....

long time not post anything in this forum... lately a bit bzz....

Need some help on this problem...... i already edit the string but it still keep showing the same profile...... i already repair permission but no luck



i also attach my SPAudioReporter.spreporter (www.megaupload.com/?d=79597TX5) for repair... sorry noob here...

one more thing, when i'm on the FCP, i try to create heavy effects , my hack will freez and have to reboot back what should i do?? or maybe i have to put water cooling system on my hack?? or maybe can suggest me a good suggestion....

Hi Recorn,

Are you running Leo or Snow Leo? Also is your problem only System profilers reporting or is sound not working at all.

Your second problem I am sure is that you are overclocking your Core 2 Quad to 3.2 on stock cooling and need a better cooler. A good cooler will bring down the temps by up to 20 degrees!

At the top end, something like this will sort you out!



Whereas at a much lower price this cooler will do an excellent job too:




OR

If you want something more akin to watercooling there is this



Just make sure you have a very large case!!!

by the way for the FCP problem.... right now im using leopard 10.5.8 and overclock from 2.4ghz to 3.2ghz... with stock cpu cooling.... for V8,Freezer and V10 it's cool, right now using cooler master HAF 932 full tower ;D

are u think this thing can make my CPU cool.....

if u think this is ok i want to buy this thing, if not consider to take V10 or aquagate max .... or watercooling can give me trouble.....what do u think steve.....

Hi recorn,

Whilst I do not have personal experience of that particular watercooler, I am sure it would do a very good job of keeping your system cool. If it is quiet, then it would be a very good choice.

You may want to experiment with which way round the fan blows. I was reading of a similar watercooler in "Custom PC" this month and as their case had 3 outlet 120 mm fans at the back, they achieved a 5 degrees cooler processor by sucking cool air into the radiator than by extracting the air in the usual way at the back of the case.

so wich one is better steve V8 or V10? how your new ring status..... all finish? look so cool.... admire it..... so how about the temp when u using V10 on your new Hack?

Hi Recorn,

The V10 is better than V8, as it also keeps your ram cool, though if you have really big heat sinks on your ram the cooler will not fit. It will just fit with this type of heat sink (which is what I have):



I am running a Quad 950 i7 which is a real heater at 4 gigs. At that speed in an enclosed case it runs at between 50 - 62 degrees which is cooler than the std heat sink at stock speed and I have had no problems or crashes even when pushing it to the limit.

On a core 2 quad at 3.2 you will be in the 40's.

The V10 fans can be controlled by the bios if you have that facility, it has 2 x 120 mm fans but is pretty quiet when used with power management. I am very pleased with it, but as I said before, the one in the link you provided I do not know, but I think the V10 will be cooler.

i already bought the Domino A.L.C today (1.9.09) around 96 USD = RM340.00.... so far it show 37c-40c when open final cut & simple effects..... will post other reading later..... or it freez or not.....
