hi, i'm new here and i got myself a damaged watercooled G5...so my plan is to build a dualboot system and i did some thinking how to fit at least 6 harddrives into my case..... however i just run into the first problem. how to mount the motherboard...i would need some advice... how did you mount your motherboard aquamac?
i will post some pictures later, so that you can see my progress...
i'm sorry for my not a quarter as good englisch as yours, but i'm a german native speaker...

Are you intending to take out all the G5 parts and replace them with your own PC components? the easiest way to mount your motherboard in the G5 case would be to buy a donor case something cheap with a removable Motherboard tray. Strip out the G5 and dremel out the hole in the back of the G5 to accurately fit the donor try and rear PCI/IO panel. Use pot rivets to secure and go from there.

Wao i love this forum , well done the best build you rock aquamac , almost finish mine build on mac pro case , please tell me advise the best power supply to purchase, i not planning to do 3 sli just one video card do i need 1000w or 600w to 700w be fine now i have 400w with i3 cpu nvidia 9500 gs works fine 10.7.3 like upgrade please let me know

Cool design, one question, where do you buy the motherboard tray?. I think the best mac mods i see.
