Anyone got a good stable hardware recipe for a hackintosh noob? Thinking about building one.

Core 2 Quad 2.66 o/clocked to 3.6 gigs Coolermaster V8 processor cooler Asus P5E3 WIRELESS@n OR Gigabyte X48-DQ6 motherboard 1333 MHz RAM Any Sata HDD Sata DVD Drive - Pioneer Nvidia 9800 GTX OR 8800 GT This will work as a wireless n airport card. If you go the Gigabyte route, you can get an e-fix and stick in a retail Leopard disk. You will not have to worry about any hacks at all.

Thanks Aqua! Now I could kick myself for selling that dead G5 powermac I picked up. oh well I don't think I really wanted to put it in that case in the first place.

It looks as though the Asus P5E3 is more readily available than the Gigabyte board. What extra steps would have to be taken to get the Asus to work?

Recommendations for new Hackintosh build (Snow Leopard ready)? Here's what I have on my list so far: Mobo: ECS X58B-A or GA-EX58-UD5 CPU: Coreā¢ i7-920 GPU: Asus EAH4870 DK/HTDI/1GD5 RAM: OCZ DDR3 PC3-10666 Platinum Low-Voltage Triple Channel PSU: Toughpower 850W I'm probably not going to start this build until after Snow Leopard are released, but I would be very thankful for any input and/or tips .
