Hey guys. I'm New to all this hackintosh stuff and about a month ago installed OSX on my dell inspiron 1525! Now you may be saying I'm a noob. That's not the case. I have been strictly a PC User forever and just started liking OSX. I have a lot of experience with building computers and modding too. ANYWAYS TO THE POINT! I Want to go out and buy a G5 case and put a hackintosh inside! But I heard that the power button and USB slots on the front of the case take some wire modding to do. Unfortunately I don't wanna buy the case until I have some diagrams that are pretty easy for me to read or a video or pictures or something that will help me on what the heck I Have to do to get that working! Just dont wanna waste $$$ until i'm sure i can do it!

Right. I think I can help on this one. You see, I find myself exactly in the same situation as you Not the best place to take off, I guess. Aqua-Mac guided me to this forum: www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t4525-0.htmlThese guys are starting from day 0 on page 1 and work it out as they go along. When you read the whole thread, make you considerations about what you want to do and get most of the diagrams needed here: www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=109381(you´ll have to sign up in order to get them). Hope that helped a bit. I´ll wait a bit longer to be sure on what I want to do. Definately a "cheap" G5 for 1st go and practice. Cases are cheap on Ebay these days..
