Hi Guys
In my pursuit to mod a Power Mac case without damaging the case itself for my Hackintosh I wanted to use this sound card as a work around for the audio out and mic on the back of the case. Will the M-Audio Revolution 5.1 Sound Card work on a Hackintosh? Also what other options would I have for the line out, which is more important to me than the mic port.
Here are the specs for use in a Mac
Apple Macintosh: Minimum Required (for stereo operation): Apple Macintosh G4* Mac OS 9.2.2 or later; Mac OS X version 10.1.5, 10.2.6 or later 256MB RAM
Minimum Required (for multi-channel operation): Apple Macintosh G4* 733MHz QS Mac OS 9.2.2 or later; Mac OS X version 10.1.5, 10.2.6 or later 256MB RAM
Recommended: Apple Macintosh G4* 800MHz QS or better DVD-ROM drive Mac OS X version 10.3 or later (Apple DVD Player required or AC-3 or DTS) 512MB RAM
Minimum Required (for Wakeboard Unleashed): Mac OS X 10.2.6 or later G4/G5 700MHz or faster 256MB of RAM 580MB free hard drive space 3D graphics acceleration required (ATI Radeon 7500/NVIDIA GeForce 2 or better, 32 MB of video memory required) *CPU accelerator cards are not supported
