Wireless Solutions for a Hackintosh

Hey Guys

I wanted to take my Hack to wireless G or N and to have my rig recognize it as an Airport device. After looking around on some sites I went w/ the Linksys Wireless G PCI Adapter WMP54G. I had read that on some machines it worked an was recognized as an Airport device.

I was wondering has anybody had success going wireless with their Hack and having the system recognize it as an Airport device? If so what hardware did you use?

when i had my hack up and running, i had a D-Link DWL-AG530 with a special driver that aquamac gave me. it saw it as an internal airport extreme card. was able to have it connect to a d-link and linksys routers no prob. as for an airport base station, i never was able to try that out.
if i look back into the forum posts i might be able to find the info and maybe the driver too.

Follow the readme to get your network adapter going. Double click the permissions command to make that work.

Thanx for the information and link. I was just wondering if this was for the PCI card you used or can this be used for any PCI card.

That one was used for my card specific (i do believe).
My best bet would be to ask aquamac to see if that would also work with other cards too.
It might or it might not.
