Yes I tried it by replacing the boot file in Chameleon as suggested, however I have not noticed any difference yet. As per the instructions, I think I need to do something with fassl's DSDT patcher. I will have another look tonight!

Excellent! I've been waiting for an excuse to do some tinkering - especially looking forward to trying out the DSDT patching as I read somewhere that 10.5.6 is going to need it (something to do with real time clock information being pulled from HW). I don't have a Windows install so have not been able to hack the bios of by D975XBX2..
