I was just wondering with all of the DVD's to use to install Mac OS X on your CPU, which is best. I have used iATKOS with much success until I went to v4 at that point I was not able to get iLife or Toast 9 to work properly. Anther problem I have ran into was v4 seemed to be missing certain files such as the "screen savers" other than flurry. Can I get some info on the best DVD because I would like to update to 10.5.5 and keep all my apps.

Actually, all the programs you mention require Quartz Extreme & Core Image to be functioning correctly to work, so perhaps you just need to sort out NVInject or use GFX strings with your card to get things to work. I have not actually used one of these popular installs for sometime, preferring to "roll my own" distro using Ritalins script and a genuine Apple Leo install disk. Check out this thread. It does require an Apple Leo DVD, but thats a small price to pay for the Apple experience. Using this method also gets you closest too. To try GFX Strings go here.
