I was over at another site and read about guys having a Snow Leo install DVD. The guy wrote that he downloaded it, not from the usual places, and got it up and reunning on his rig. He had screen shots to back up his claim and other posts began to be posted stating they also were able to download Snow Leo and install it. Question, Is this a hoax and how did they get the install DVD?

its not the final just the beta you can find it off of many torrent sites or ask the green demon  |

Have you tried it? That is downloading it and running on your system. If so, how did you get it to install?

Like said before it's in beta stage. I've found that the boot loader works with this version as well. Easy to install with a close spec. build.

Hi,
Yup, I was just interested to see how it ran and also to see if I can get nvidia FX 260/280 running. I understand the device ID's for that card and others are in the NV kexts. To start with I would run on a Mac pro, then install a boot-loader like Chameleon to run on a hackie. Many thanks.

not had the pleasure or time to mess with FX 260/280 yet. I'll have to check into them, as I thought they was not for sale yet, or am I thinking of the FX 280?

This is interesting, Netkas posted the following yesterday, he says that Snow Leo does not work with any Nvidia GPU as the drivers are baulked! Maybe this is why I had problems of installation KP's with the Mac Pro at work with Quadro FX 4500. Wish I had a mac ATI card to check, Rats!!
