Going to need more info than this, what version of OS X are you using, also, your com.apple.boot.plist is less useful than your in.plist etc, etc. Have you tried injectors also.

Hello everybody.
Notebook Toshiba Satellite X205-SLI5, Dual Nvidia 8600M GT
PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x1,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0) - work only this card.
PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0) - this not work as single. And when i doing plist for dual cards. I put it as second card, after saving plist i opened it again and it first card and i have a panic. I thing it must be as second card.
Somebody help me please.

I.'m using iAtkos v7 10.5.7 (Voodoo kernel 9.7.0), tried injectors, the OS loading, every thing OK, when it must be graphics mode, monitor turns off

When I use only one GTX260 everything works fine with strings.

Did you remake the PCI addresses for your specific motherboard? Can you set your bios to boot from the second card?

Hey all, I have a Jaton Video-558PCI-Quad that I'm hoping to use in my Hackintosh. Its a dual GPU PCI card with GeForce 8400 GS GPUs. I'm a total newbie to the hackintosh world so please be gentle. My current system is running with a GeForce 9400 GT PCIe with DVI and VGA out. Both ports work on that card. If I remove the PCIe card and replace it with the PCI card, the system kernal panics when it switches to graphics mode. After reading through the forums it sounds like I will need to go sometime with EFI Strings? It also sounds like getting any PCI card working in OS X is a bit iffy. My system is a PsyStar Open Q (don't buy one, the company is crap) with a Gigabyte motherboard with 1 PCIe slot. I need 4 monitors and this Jaton was the cheapest board I could find that supports 4 monitors. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You are going to need to follow the instructions at the beginning of this post. You will need windows vista or windows 7 to find the second PCI address of your card. However there is a 50 % chance that you will need a motherboard with 2 PCIe slots as Giga's usually will only boot from the second slot with dual cards in OSX 86 and Intel boards. Strangely, Nvidia boards are better in this respect but have other incompatibility problems. Hopefully this is not the case for you.

I folloed the instructions for building a hackintosh from Lifehacker (http://lifehacker.com/5360150/install-snow-leopard-on-your-hackintosh-pc-no-hacking-required) . Can I use these instructions to enable both video cards I have. I have an Evga NVidia 9500 GT 512 in both slots.

Yes, but you will have to make the output.plist with leopard as snow leo gives the wrong info for that part of the operation.

Read the walkthrough, it tells you how to do it. Basically you need to put your card in the two slots you are going to use but only one at a time, then run the first part of the GFX strings process, but with one card in each slot at a time. I cannot do this bit for you as different motherboard/card combinations have different pci addresses.

Here is the file for my 9500 GT 512MB cards in a EP45-UD3P

One odd thing. I searched my entire computer and didn't find a NVInjec, NVKush or Natit file. and my resolution on the second part when I popped in my second card in the second slot came up as 1280x1024.
