Hey Guys..
So its time to overclock my rig... My DQ6 allowed my Intel 8200 to push 3.66ghz with ease! I've just had my first crack at it on my current board the DS2R and I'm hitting a wall a 3ghz!
So anyone with overclocking skills on this mobo, a little help would be great.
Would like to know about voltages? I've pused to CPU voltage to 1.25 on my DQ6 but that isnt helping on my DS2R.
I have the RAM multiplier set to 2 the CPU multiplier is fixed at 8 and the FSB @ 375 the PCIx at 100mhz
My RAM is manual at 5.5.5.15 2.2v (thats stock for my RAM, although the DS2R doesnt seem to support DDR8500).
The voltages are all AUTO (so it doesnt flash *System not optimized*) I've also tried manual and raising the cpu core.
With it not being a P35 northbridge are the voltages lower? should i rise the FSB voltage? RAM voltage?
I'm not that impressed with it so far... but i feel it could just be me.
so to those with the same board how have you gotten on?
Joe.
