I am planning to buy this motherboard ...so I have read and read, so I am still coming up to speed, but am planning on using this process but am wondering how to tailor it to what I need to get it to work...Here are my components that I am going to use...
How to make a 10.5.2 Install DVD + updates process: Hardware: GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3R intel q6600 nvidia pcie 7600 GS Serial ata harddrive New DVD burner - Any recommendation?
The peice that I am struggling with is how to determine how to tailor kexts based on my hardware....Thanks in advance..I'm stoked...

Bishoptf, Welcome to the forums! Glad your here. ;D So lets answer a few of your questions.
1)SATA DVD burner. I've got a Pioneer DVR-212 DBK that has been great since day one but you have several choices. I believe Apple uses Sony products in the Mac Pros so that is also a strong recomendation.
2)Sorting the Kexts is half the fun but I would head over to insanelymac and do a search in Tutorials (the genius bar) forum and see if some hasn't already written a how-to for your Mobo or one that is fairly simular.
Best of luck and keep us posted. We love to hear about shiney new hacks.
Nik
