I have not found many with a required internal FW800 socket. I did look for a while but did not find any others other than one PCI card but that only fitted a 66 MHz socket and would not physically fit in a 33M-DS2R board. If I find any others I will let you know.

Wow, that was quick and it does indeed look the same - NEC/Texas instruments chips - I say go for it. I guess when I was looking, the cheaper manufacturers had not yet moved in.

I've bookmarked that ebay auction... Let us know if it works out. Did you make notes on getting the Audio working? i have audio and firewire left to complete.
The Memory cage and CPU cover were not cheap... £50 for the Memory cage and £20 for the CPU cover.. i suggest you buy at the same time as postage was quite costly from those boys.. Before you place your order message them asking for a good example.. they will ship one that isnt covered in scratches... All parts are refurb or failed QC it seems.

Sorry for the late response, Well about that ebay shop, its really good I got the fw 800 card on Tuesday and its working. The Audio is working as well. I am now working on the back ports.

@ macbookjoe here is my connections for the audio on the M/B using the mac pro audio cable
2 - GND (black) 5 - line out R (Purple) 9 - line out L (brown)

Check this out I am still working on the back ports I've done the Audio in and out and The three USB. Now I am working on the 2 ethernet ports which I believe wont be a problem. Here is an image of how it looks like now
