That's pretty cool, its nice to have a upgrade option should should I need it.
What do you think about the question "Is Wi-Fi bad for your health?".
I've stopped using Wi Fi on my hacks and switched to cable. I was getting paranoid about possible health risks associated with exposure to the radio signal. There is probably nothing to worry about, but who knows. I still use Wi-Fi on my laptop, but I use that infrequently.

Hi Ritalin, Well, if you can get the wires to your computer, wired is always the preferred option I guess. As to the question, "Is Wi-Fi bad for your health?", well my tortoise lives next to my wireless router and he has never complained, see picture of when he was young: He is now 20' long and lives on a diet of wilderbeast & any other animal that wanders into his lair, I mean cage! Seriously though, I do wonder sometimes if such technology is tested thoroughly and if we really know the answers.

Nice hack Steve. I wish i had the know-how to do what you did with your Hackintosh. I would be stuck somewhere out in left field somewhere. Now all you need in an AppleTV and wireless N router and see what those bad boy speeds are like.

Hi JJ,
Apple TV would be nice one day, but my bank balance is looking a bit undernourished at the mo.

Which Dell Wireless card did you get 1500 or 1505?
I have a new XPS Dell Notebook that came with the hideous Intel 3945ABG card, I want to replace it with an Airport compatible card, and take advantage of the new N cards also.
Thanks.

Hi macgirl & welcome to aquamac forums, I have read many of your posts over at insanely mac. The card I used is the DELL 1500 mini PCIe card and if your DELL has one of these slots, I would think is compatible.
Here is the text from the ebay advert I bought the card from:

Wireless 1500 Draft N:

Thank you very much, Aquamac. Yes my XPS M1330 has two (yes 2) Mini PCIe slots, one is for WLan an the other For WWan (which is empty), I read that someone put a Broadcom Dell card together with the Intel card on a Dell Notebook, and worked for him on the Mac OS as an Airport an the Intel on the Windows. I'm undicided yet what to get, maybe a 1500/1505 or a 1490, or another choice is an Atheros card, some people on ebay are selling the MacBook's original (Atheros they say) card. Since I'm in Mexico I have less chices from people who can send the card to my country, another way is to call Dell and ask them if they sell the card here, today I saw some Latitude and Precision laptos on Dell's site that come with the option of 1490 or the Intel 3945abg. Thank you for the welcome
