page 1, all except the X1050's page 2, all except the X1050's and HD2600's page 3, all *7900's might be an issue, but i have heard (not confirmed) that they can be flashed to a 7800 or Quadro* This page might help with what can and can not be flashed. The Mac Elite Wiki

Only G70 chipped cards can be used on real macs 7800 GS (7800 GT/GTX on PCIe G5's) not 7900 GS (G71) chipped cards. You need to be careful there and look at the stickers on the back. If you start nvflash and it tells you that it is a G71, you are scuppered. Take it back and get a G70 (if you can). G71's can work on hackintosh only.

What about the 800GTS 640mb? I just discovered these forums, but couldnt find anything about this certain card. I read that it has the same gpu as the GTX so I guess it might work.

Hi wurmwood and welcome,
This will work in a Hackintosh, but not in PPC macs (G4 & G5's) or Mac Pro's at the moment. 8800 GTX's may work one day, if we ever get our hands on a genuine Quadro FX 5600 rom.
