Sapphire are bringing a 512 edition version of the X 1950 AGP Dual DVI to market. See it here: Click here for infoand here: Click Here This single slotter would make a great card if it could be made to work with the X 1900 512 G5 mac edition rom, this card: Would probably take some serious editing anyway, but at least both have 512 of GDDR3 memory! Edit: D**m, the mac G5 card has only 256 megs of ram!!! Back to square 1.

Sorry for the negative vibes but I don't think we will see this working in a PPC AGP Mac. Differences between the two ROMs needed for both cards is likely to be significant. For one-thing, the x1950Pro uses a lower power chip and would likely need different voltage settings in the ROM. The risk of frying the x1950 will probably put most people off trying this conversion. It would certainly put me off. I find it frustrating that someone running OSX86 on a AGP hackintosh would have more chance of getting this card working than someone using official Apple hardware!

Shame though, as it looks to be a nice card.
