really stupid dummy question

ok, i asked before how to convert ogm files, but that has been completed. now i have the mpeg and mp3 files, but i have no idea how to merge them after making the right splits and such in final cut pro 4.5 hd. Anyone out there with some knowledge on this, could you give me a hand?
