I'm looking at cooling this Mac so I can get the noise down in my computer room. Would you have any place in mind that I should look for parts and maybe a list of things I would need to do this? This would be my first time doing this so not sure what I would need. I have the skills to do it just never done it. lol Thanks for any help in this Mod i plan to do . Oh my first post here too.

Welcome to the forums (cool avatar) As for watercooling your Quicksilver, might i suggest going along the same route as aquamac with his setup? The watercoolong unit he used is the AQUAGATE Mini R80You might want to build a universal plate that the cooling sits on, as illustrated here and here. Information on building the plate is here.

Thank you for the help. I made the avatar thanks. I found the cooler here for $89.00 is that a good price? I guess I will have to replace the old drill that went out on me so i can make the plate. lol or maybe I'll just take down to the John Deer dealer and have them make one for me. Thanks for the help.

$89 is a steal, where i am at, they are selling them for $105. I would go with that. It's been tried, tested and true.

You know of any views of the CPU with out the cooler mounted on it? I would like to get a few views of how it looks with out anything on it.
