Wow, I have been on this website for a long, long, long time. I also haven't made powerful Hackie that amount of time. I've been using Linux and Windows on HP z820 workstations with Quadros. I did for a short about of time turned my z800 into a Hackintosh, but it was too much of a hassle that I just stayed in Windows. My original Hackintosh which was based on BadAxe Intel board is still severing has a network and plex server, although just 3 hd streams without lag. I'm here now because I just made a Ryzen based hackie and it's mad fast! =). I'll share pictures later if anyone still around to comment!.

Currently on running Catalina Vanilla, with a Open Core 5.8 bootloader ASROCK X570m Pro4 matx (was going to install in a PowerMac G5 case, but the laser cutter at my work wasn't working.) I ended buying a Metallic Gear pro Neo Air case on sale at Newegg for $59.00! I bought the processor last Blackfriday for $160 and the motherboard during cybermonday for $140.00 on Amazon. I have 4 sticks of G.skill TridentZ Neo DDR4 DDR4-3200 16gb maxed out to 64gb was also on sale at Newegg! HP 1tb ssd EX950 M.2 NVM (Catalina 10.5.4) (Newegg sale), and a SanDisk Extreme Pro 968gb SSD SATA (windows 10 install) (ebay find) and exFAT formatted HGST Ultrastar 7K4000 4TB SATA (left over). GPU is a Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT GAMING OC 8G (newegg sale). I running the stock AMD Prism cooler which works fine for now and for wifi when I need it I have a BCM94360NG wifi. There's some issues with Adobe products until I did some online "patches" that fix issues with AMD mmx which technically from what I understand is not %100 Intel compatible. Also there's issues with RAW picture support which sucks if you have a newer camera! but it works great for the most part and is actually more stable than in windows when running Adobe Apps which is strange, but I guess it makes sense? my Wifi card says "Mac Wifi" in Windows Device manager and I had to use special drivers from China to get it to work in Windows. It works out of the box on Mac. Some of my issues is due to my wifi card... but it's been pretty steady thus far and so fast especially when render DaVinci Resolve edits or course in windows it's amazing in the gaming department, but I like to keep in Hack side if I can. Honestly wish there was better gaming support on the mac side. Oh, and it runs Autodesk Flame like dream! =) Maybe better if not close to my Linux HP z820 which is a 20 core Xeon, 128gb 16tb raided beast with a GTX 1080 Ti. I can't believe Apple won't support Nvidia GPUs! or AMD CPUs! it's too bad.
