Hello, i installed the GFX Strings of 9800GTX+ on Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with chimera 1.4.1 bootloader, but i have black screen when boot apple logo finish loading

Hi there,
Yes as you have found, Apple have removed support for 9 series from 10.6.8. I had the same problem with my work computer and have rolled back to 10.6.7 untill I get time to sort out a solution, but I can tell you that re-installing 10.6.7 nvidia kexts and frameworks does not sort the problem. I will be looking at this when I get a few mins at work but not for a couple of weeks.

I had my GTX9800+ running on EFI strings on 10.7 and 10.71.
10.7.2 Gives me a black screen instead of desktop. Only solution right now is to nvenabler.kext
