Hello Aquamac and all others, I just got Quadro 4000 for Mac www.nvidia.com/object/product-quadro-4000-mac-us.html, the first thing I want to say here is I think since this is the card designed for Mac, it should be pretty easy to install in my OSX 86 10.6.6 However, things didn't go very well. I think I need help. I don't know if Aquamac or anyone can help me to make my Quadro 4000 work with GFX string. If I can not get it work , I probably need to return it back to store before the end of this month. I appreciate any help thank you so much CK

Any success with the Quadro 4000? I have a PC version, but could only make it work at basic resolution. I have it connected through the Displayport.

Try dropping these 2 files into your "Extra" folder (see screen shot enclosed). You will have to delete ATY INIT or any other Natit, NVInject type kexts from your System/Library/Extensions folder or Extra folder as these will overwrite the strings. Also you will not want any NVEnalbler instructions in your com.apple.boot.plist. You may of course get a black screen at boot as this may be the first time your card has really been activated. Can you also try the DVI port. Attachments:
