atom's been done b4, and the chipset is: Nvidia MCP7A ala macbook with 9400m graphics.. should be a piece of cake
although this hack is unlikely to push the envelope in ultimate performance terms...... i'm coming from the other direction.... i want to make a quiet audio computer.... first off : passive cooling on an atom processor. add an m-Audio 192 soundcard (lying flat away from the motherboard,with shielding).offboard power supply. this could be a very cost effective system compared with a passive cooled full size pc.
