EDIT: I've added a few bits so new pics to show my progress.I've never posted build pics before (just the completed rig) but I'm kinda proud of this one. It has a simple WC system inside and the cable management turned out really well. So without further adieu ; I'm not so thrilled with the tool-less design for securing the GPU but the removable motherboard tray is worth its weight in gold! There was one little snag. The radiator of the H70 hits one of the case supports so a little dremel action was necessary. 15 minutes later and it fit like a dream! Finally! All wired up and ready to go! Looks rather spiffy if I do say so myself There is one mod you can't see. Thanks to the fans that come with the H70 the rear exhaust fan was unnecessary. I pulled the top off the case and re-installed it as a roof vent fan. Last shot. Hopefully that big honkin' fan will keep the GTX 480s cool and happy OS X 10.6.5 here I come thanks to Aqua and The King Thanks for looking and any and all comments are welcome. Cheers, Chris

Wow, Nice build!
How loud are those H70 fans? Was reading some reviews and they all said that idle speed to load, those fans are really loud.

Thanks Redd. It has been in the works for a while and I'm really pleased! The H70 fans are ungodly loud when I boot up so I would not want to run them right off the PSU but running on a header they sit at about 1300 RPM and are very quite. Even running Prime 95 (doing it now) they only rev up to about 1500 RPM (CPU never breaks 60 degrees C) and are still more quite than the the other fans in the system. I'll be honest though, if I start doing any major overclocking I'll grab some Noctua 120mm fans (2 for the H70 and another 2 to go in the floor of the case) and wire them directly to the PSU for maximum airflow.

Or how about a few of these bad boys??? CM 120mm fansand the Noctura fans, are these the ones?To Me, the CM fans are a better performer plus 4 color variations vs the Noctura default. Maybe it's just me. My roommate has 2 of the red ones hooked up to his Coolit ALC and they are maxed. Can't hear them worth squat.

Redd, those CM120s look good to me! Should push lots of air through the rad.I have two of the non-led models on the way. Looking forward cooler temps and a much quieter box. Thank you for the suggestion Joe, Thank you for the compliment. I can't wait to get snowy going on it:). I will indeed post some screen shots soon.

Nice, very nice Nik, the water-cooling kit looks nice. What temps are you seeing? With the new Nvidia drivers, this will scream. Looking forward to seeing some grabs of sys profiler.

Aqua, Thank you for the kind words The water cooling really is nice and after an hour and a half running Prime 95 (Large In-place FTTs) with an ambient temp of 22 o C I'm seeing 62 o C on the coolest core and 64 o C on the hottest. I was initially a little worried but the fans are only running at 1400 RPM (they are rated at 61.3 ft 3/min and 31.5 dBA at 2000 RPM) so there isn't nearly as much air moving across the radiator as I would like. At Redd's suggestion I have ordered a pair of Cooler Master SickleFlow fans that move a little more air, have a bit more static pressure, and are a good bit quieter. P.S. is it me or does that GTX 480 look lonely? I may have to get it a friend

Sweet momma! That's awesome but between the (4) GPUs and the PSU at the bottom is anyone else thinking fire hazard?
P.S. NCIX rocks! That's where my motherboard came from when no one else had them. A truly great company!

Nah, no fire hazzard. That case is meant to be a cooling beast. NCIX's video of the unit here...Case is this...I so want that case!!! Have fun trying to find a good deal on one of those here in Edmonton!!!

I'll keep my eyes pealed for a deal on the Half-X for you. That pic you posted has a bunch of sweet hardware installed. What caught my eye was the hexacore specific CPU cooler ;D On another note, the Coolermaster fans came in and are running as I type! You were right on the money as far as sound goes. I can't even hear them over the GPU fan and they move a ton of air. Excellent suggestion. Thank you

Redd, Thanks for sharing that. I'm pretty happy with my current case but I would be absolutely sick if I powered a new build up for the first time and smoked it right off the bat. It speaks volumes about doing a visual inspection of ones components before bolting everything up.
