GF 6800 AGP rom

I've grown tired of my noisy GF 7800GS AGP I have in my Power Mac dual G5 2ghz...plan to flash a GF 6800GT Golden Sample instead since my system is a bottleneck to the 7800GS which gave me no speed increase in games such as Doom 3, Quake 4, Sid Meier's Pirates.

Since this GF 6800GT is a "golden sample" card it can handle higher mem and GPU speeds...what mac flash rom do you guys recommend? can it handle the "Ultra" flash rom?

It is quite not as easy. You should consider again wether the bunch of work will worth it. First you fetch the ROM off themacelite.wikidot.com/wikidownloads2. Second suck your original 6800GT ROM off PC Card using NVflash. Open both ROM with Hexeditor and transfer the most important parts from PC-ROM to MAC-ROM according to the preliminaries described on same site. If you ever plan to make it real, maybe you make a deal?! I send you a Gainward 6800GT GS Dual DVI and you send me the 7800GS as a refund :-) best regards an good luck
