6800GT help?

Have card that was flashed mac... would not work in my MDD, flashed it back to PC worked well for 2 days ran cool with zalman cooler. now now no go. rivatuna reports like 4095 ram on it and rom read is garbled!

Take NVflash 5.xx / take a proper ROM for the card e.g. www.techpowerup.com/vgabios or www.mvktech.net/ (vendor AND manufacturer needs to match) make a bootdisk ... erase the eeprom first (--eraseeeprom beware the 3e!) than "-4 -5 -6 -j 6800gt.rom -fs" the whole string is written by the adapter the card stuck in and so on... than reboot -

I Have erased the rom a few times, I will try the roms listed, but I have a rom it was running sweet on and now it will not work.

I also did -4 -5 -6 but what is the j for? ...and the -fs after the rom name?

I tried to remove protection.

Every thing says it works out ok even if I just run a standard flash. (no commands. nvflash 6800gt.rom)

I wonder if the machine I have it in has a bad AGP connector as it had an out of balance fan on it for a bit.

What ever I do, rivatuner and gpuZ don't even think its a 6800 and it will crash a boot on xp splash screen if enabled.

Disable and I can run on this PCI ati crap.
