Will This PC FX4500 work on a genuine Mac Pro?

Hi all,

I'm selling my Nvidia FX4500 QUadro card on ebay.

I am getting a lot of questions asking whether it will work in a genuine mac pro or PCIe slot G5.

I've directed them to these forums in the hope of answers, but I thought i'd actually post the thread myself saving potential buyers posting over and over.

The card's rom has been flashed as per Aquamac's instruction and I have been using this in my own hackintosh rig till now.

All advice would be greatly welcome.

Nope. Won't work. To work in real Mac it should needs to be flashed with proper ROM (Intel or PPC).
