Things are about to get mad in the Hardware market with Intel coming out with dual Penryn boards like this. We are talking Dual Quad Core madness (Dual Quad Core 2 Quads on 45n) ;D

Yeah trouble is, even the processors that are worthy of a board like this will set you back around £1500! Still nice to dribble a bit.

Aqua, Is that board QUAD Sli ready? Holy crap! That would be the uber hack. I'm guessing that is the "future" X48 chipset? I'd love to see the numbers that baby would post in GeekBench. I'll get one as soon as I sell my car. ;D Nik P.S. Did you notice the "dual" 8 pin MoBo connectors+the Molex? Might cause a brown out when you powered it up.

I thought quad SLI was still experimental. It looks like it can handle the triple SLI that Nvidia said can be used now.

Red, That was a cpmplete assumption based on my part. Looking at the spacing of the blue slots make me rethink the quad SLi to (3) x16 slots + (1) x4/x1 electrical + (2) PCI slots? More GPU power that I'll ever need ;D

£370 in the UK for that board.. I'd go for it once the wolfdale Quad core CPUs are out. Well maybe.. would be cool to see a M-ATX Dual CPU support Mobo.
