Booting Video issue with SL on Asus P5Q Deluxe

Hi All,

I am having some problems intermittently when booting SnowLeo on my p5q deluxe.

After the chameleon screen it goes into the apple blue screen and sometimes I get an issue whereby the screen stays black and the cursor is large and stuck in the left top corner. If I move the mouse, it stays there, and another cursor moves around the screen.

If I boot into OS X using verbose mode it doesn't do it!

any thoughts?

Are you saying it works sometimes and boots OK?

Yes, when I boot verbose its fine. Then when I reboot normally it works OK !?!

However when I shut down the SL install it does it next time I boot up. It didn't do it with Leo.

do you have the shutdown/restart kext installed?

I have the following kexts in the extensions folder on my boot disk:
fakesmc
IOAHCIBlockstorageInjector
NullCPUPowerManagement
OpenHaltRestart
SleepEnabler

That's it.
