Just got my hands on a broken Power Mac G5 minus the ram and hard drive. I was thinking it's not worth rebuilding/fixing it (to a working PowerMac G5) since I already have a quad g5. What I really want is a Mac Pro (but that's another story)
I have a Badaxe2 based hackie running Leopard, but I'd like to move on the Snow... I think it's time to build a totally new machine, but I'd like to be as "simple" as possible. Balancing my life between, work, work and my new house and wife isn't as easy as I thought... umm... I just don't have the time to do anything... I'm sure you know what I mean... Ok enough said... These are the two boards I'm think about using...
ASUS P6T7 ASUS Z8NA-D6C Dual
But I'm open to any suggestions! As well as any pointers on converting a G5 case for Hackintosh duties! Oh and it has to be fast! =)
Thanks again! -RB

Hi Racerblur,
I think I would go for the Asus P6T7 as I can support that much better.
