Hey everyone -I have been reading a lot on dual boot -but I have my OSX86 working great right now and dont want to mess it up
I have SL 10.6.3 installed on a Asus Rampage Gene II board with Nvidia GTS 250 video card.
My question is -I would like to put Windows 7 on here to play games -
Should I do a dual boot system -or should I just do a dual hard drive system.
If I do a dual hard drive -am I just going to have to change the boot drive in the bios of the HD I want or is there another way to have the system see the 2 drives.
Shoot me your opinions
Matt

Hallo macguy4u,
The best way to do this is with a dual hard drive system, one with OSX 10.6.3 and one with Windows 7. I use it myself. I boot with Chameleon and it works like a charme.

Hey Trainer
Since I already have 10.6.3 set up and I have a lot of software installed too -( Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro and others)
Can I do this without having to start over? I had to install OSX with myhack installer which has the current Chameleon installer embedded.
I would love not to start over.
How did you do it? Can you guide me at all
thanks a bunch

Hey Trainer - one more thing -Could I do a dual hard drive if I really wanted to?? Just asking -Cause it wouldnt bother me to switch the startup disk in the bios -the only thing Im using the windows hard drive for it for games.

Hallo macguy4u,
it`s very simpel. I installed my Mac OSX too with myhack installer. When you are ready with the installation and your Hackintosh is booting with Chameleon you have to remove the Hard Drive with Mac OSX. Then you have to insert the Hard Drive you would install Windows 7 on it. Do it and after then you insert both, the Mac OSX with Cahmeleon and the Windows 7 Hard Drive. In the BIOS the first Bootdevice is the Hard Drive with Mac OSX. When the Hackintosh is booting and you see the Bootscreen from Chameleon you press any key on the Keyboard and then you see both Hard Drives, one with Mac OSX and one with Windows 7. And with the Arrow-Keys you can select between Mac OSX and Windows 7 to boot. So I use it and it works. Sorry for my English I am a German.
best regards Trainer
