Ok, anyone who used OS 9 or Classic might be able to help me out with this one. Remember Apple Video Player? What is the OS X replacement for it? Where i can toggle between RCA and Svideo and such? I plan on getting a PYRO A/V Link and i would like to view what i'm recording or just watching what ever that is plugged into it. Just like the old AVP could.

Well, this was a cliffhanger thread, but i found a program that does the same thing. It's called BTV.

I have used this, not a bad little program. Did you have to pay for it?

the free version works somewhat. it does give you those annoying messages saying it's free. that's why little snitch and serial box come in real handy. shhh, i didn't say anything.

This is what their site had to say about the free version.

Red, When I saw this post I really thought you were talking about the movie (AVP-R) You see where my head is right now. I'll have to check out the software, too. Nik

Sorry about that, i thought i stated that in the first post. Anyways, i was talking about the OS 9 Apple Video Player. Since there is nothing like that for OS X. I was fond of that program when i was running OS 9 on my old 4400, 7500, 7600, 9600 and similar machines when i had them. Great for hooking up a DVD player and such when you had confined space and you sat in front of a computer all day.
