andek661,
Please let me know if your working so far with the 2 cards. By the way, the DSDT you posted, does it have the windows 2006 fix. Before I proceed with the 3 cards, I need to know if your DSDT needs this fix. Could you let me know if you are OK with the 2 cards at the same time, thanks.

Yes, the DSDT I posted do have the windows 2006 fix. Without this fix, my system hangs at boot. As you could see from the screenshots I posted, my system works with two cards at the same time. I also posted the in.plist which the EFI-string used to enable the two cards is created from.
I am of course glad to provide any additional information you ask for!

In order to test that the second card really works, I attach my Asus mk241h-monitor to it via a DVI-cable and it works perfectly as you can see. I will now test to attach my LG-TV via HDMI (using a DVI/HDMI-adapter) and report back. Attachments:

The HDMI-output of the second card also works perfectly, as you can see. Attachments:

Hi andek661, Here are 2 input files for you to try + the one you have currently been using as it seemed sensible to keep them all together. There is a fully correct one that always gave me a kernel panic on this board, but maybe the Windows 2006 fix might work who knows. Then there is a slot 3 disabled one. As I am working from memory on this it may not work as I no longer have that list to check what I did. But give it a go and post back: rapidshare.com/files/329406416/P6T6_Workstation_input_lists.zip

:)I think these two screenshots needs no further comments. I have three screens attached at the same time with QE/CI working using your last in.plist for all three cards! Thank you, Aqumac! You have a great pedagogical talent! However, I do not think the windows2006 DSDT hack has anything to do with this. I compared my DSDT with derpumas DSDT using the compare documents function in word 2007 and then did changes to my DSDT based on that. All these changes is in the DSDT I gave you. When I only applied the Windows2006 hack without making any of the other changes I found in derpumas DSDT-file, then the cards still was listed in the wrong order in the systemprofiler and the output from gfxutil -f display was wrong. When I applied the other changes to my DSDT, this ordeer changes and the output from gfxutil -f display became PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x7,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0), which is correct. I am very happy to do additional tests! Attachments:

Hi andek661,
Great news, are you saying all 3 cards are working and you are using the correct input list or the slot 3 disabled one. If you are using the slot 3 disabled one then the card will show up but not be functional. With the fully working plist, I always found that OSX bombed just before it hit the blue screen. If all 3 are working then that is amazing. could you post your final output list please.
Many thanks for all your testing. Pulling your computer apart time after time can get really frustrating.

All three screens are working. I use the same in.plist file you sent to me for all three cards (no slot was disabled in this in.plist). It is not so frustrating to open and close the computer. However, whith all three cards inserted, I had to reinstall Leo and compile a new DSDT, since the old one refused to work with three cards. Attachments:

All 3 screens may be working if you are plugged into cards in slot 1 & 5. But do you get a picture if you are plug a monitor into either DVI on the card in slot 3?

Yes I do get a picture and full QE/CI-support from that card as well. I posted two screenshots of the system profiler when three screens was attached. I had to scroll down in order to view the last card. One screeen was attached to each card, because I wanted to test that it really works.

That is certainly very interesting. Maybe I need to recompile my DSDT again. What motherboard bios version are you using - I am on the latest 0507 bios. The other only difference is that I am running Snow Leo and not Leopard which I believe you are. I tried it in 32 bit & 64 bit mode on this board with no difference. I know the strings are correct but as soon as I drop the 3rd card into slot 3 I get a KP although I see NVDANV50Hal.kext loaded and registered at boot.

Hi, I have tested snow leopard as well now, and it works even better (I do not need to install special drivers with snow). I am on Bios version 0507.
I have analyzed the changes I had to make to my DSDT more closely. I think that Device(NPE3) and Device(NPE7) has to switch places. I also think that the first card in system profiler has to be the display one for three cards to work.

Hi andek,
Can you post your DSDT again please so I can study it. Many thanks.

Of course. Sorry, I haven't responded until now. I have installed Snow Leopard and tested that as well and I have also slept some, because I did most of the work during nighttime. Here is the DSDT I use. It is optimized for a corei7 processor with three gtx 280 cards. Attachments:
