Maybe the new Mac lineup might take advantage of those GT-285 cards for gaming and rendering. Now the question would be, would those same motherboards in the Mac Pro also be Crossover compliant for the ATI cards out there?

After staunchly refusing to offer SLI on anything other than its own chipsets, Nvidia just changed its mind and authorised its activation on motherboards using the Intel P55 chipset. We are curious to know what Nvidia has obtained from Intel in exchange for this concession, perhaps formal authorisation to be able to use licenses relating to the Nehalem processors.
