So will I benefit if I flash 7600GS with 7300GT rom file? I am thinking because this card was in MacPro and drivers should be better for this card than for 7600GS (wich was not in iMac it was 7600GT) I am thinking of using a rom file from: www.mvktech.net/component/option,com_remository/Itemid,26/func,select/id,57/ Or I only need to change device id in mine 7600GS rom file with Nibitor? And is it possible to use a firmware update(rom file) from apple downloads for 7300GT cards? Thank U very much for any kind of information. P.S: And is it possible to flash Nvidia 8400 GS to 9400 or 9300 card, because 8400 doesn't seam to work in Leopard? UPDATE: Well I flashed mine 7600GS card with 7300GT rom file, and had no problems(even I was prepared for blind flash). I downloaded Gigabytes NVIDIA 7300GT rom file from www.mvktech.net and flashed mine 7600GS card with nvflash from usb stick. One thing I noticed; rom file for 7300GT was 64 kb, but for 7600GS after backup was 60kb. NVCAP was the same... I did not change any clock settings with nibitor because I was reading on forums that this card (7600GS) can take clock speeds of 7300GT.
