Arti & Ruby at strangedogs use this program (Reggie SE) to help with rewriting roms on Graphics cards along with IO Registry explorer which you will also find in developer tools, if you drill accross the device tree on this one it will reveal all kinds of info about your components in your computer, from device id to memory registers of your graphics card for example. I have used it a few times under Ruby's instruction when testing out the 7800 GT roms. As you say, you need to know what you are doing. Here is an example IO Registry Explorer:

Very interesting..but it is too much for me...any way, it could be great if somebody can find the way to OC RAM memory, like on PCs.
