Wow, this guy's work is impressive. He's also done an MDD and a Quicksilver too. The only disadvantages I can see is that he uses external radiators, but then again, I suppose they'd afford better cooling overall.

Wonder what temps he gets, I get 34 degrees max on my twin rad mod MDD. Idles at 29-30 degrees in the summer, at the moment. In fact if I open the case the temp goes up to about 36degrees which is a good sign that the airflow is working.

Convenience issues aside, would an external radiator work better vs. an internal one for a watercooling project? I'd imagine that since there'd be more overall surface area on an outside radiator, heat transfer to the surrounding air would be quicker and more efficient.

the main thing to worry about is space issues inside a mac case. external units like that make it so you have extra room inside your case. since they don't really have practical applications for macs, they just assume they are being used for PC's.
