yay... soon it will be to the point that all PC and Mac hardware will be run off of Linux because nothing will be compatible anymore with anything else

Actually I'm excited by the move to arm because I think it will really shake things up with both AMD and Intel. Honestly, the ARM is a freaking amazing platform. Think about the form factor, size and low heat and low power consumption. I believe if the design an ARM based chip with performance and desktop in mind, it will be amazing performer!
