Hi Roninsw,
The two cpu's are fairly evenly matched in a lot of ways, though the genuine Apple cpu has a few benefits such as temperature monitoring within OS X (using bresink temp monitor) and a quicker boot time which I believe is down to the lack of the temperature thermistor on the Giga. Most Dual 1.25's can be clocked to 1.5 GHz, but that is the sensible limit for everyday work. The Giga has the benefit of being plug & play, with the Apple cpu you need to find the Apple copper heatsink. Both processors benefit from some extra cooling, such as fans at the back of the case to draw the air out. On the giga, you can set the clock to 1.53, you are talking, I presume of a 133 system bus here. The Giga does allow for either bus speed, with a different set of jumper settings for either system bus. The alternative and faster solution is to remove 1 resistor on the rear side of the logic board and turn the board into a 167 board. Downside is you need new faster memory. If you want to use a genuine Apple processor like the 1.25 or 1.42, you will have to do this anyway. If you are happy removing resistors from circuit boards and are a reasonably competant solderer go for the Apple, but if you are not, the Giga is the easiest way to upgrade, and if you ever feel more confident at a later date you can still change the logicboard bus speed.
Hope this is helpfull.

Thanks Steve for your answer One more question .Is one option to my MAC going more faster (the graphic ) the X800 xt?? Or my CPU "1ghz 133bus " is going to be the limitation? (Now I have the 9800 pro BBA in my G4 fw800 1ghz 1.75ram) Thanks for your time Rodrigo

I think the CPU is probably going to make the most difference for you. There would be a small difference between the two graphics cards, but this would be very small when coupled with a 1 gig CPU.

The CPU does make a Huge difference, But if you would put an X800 XT into your system you would gain 20% More out of it, the GPU takes the work from the main CPU. Were as with a small and slow GPU the main CPU would kick in and balance the Performance out. I know this, because if I let my system run with the GF4 64MB it slows down a lot on Mac OSX, and with X800XT the system is way faster and the Graphic Quality of the System rises. In other words the Graphic Performance does Rise a bit. You will also notice that if you Run with 1.25 Ghz, the CPU and GPU run Sync and run Parallel to each other.
