Hi! yes, the card is inserted into slot-1 (the primary slot) nearest to the CPU. I have tested the new in.plist and, now the cardplace is correctly reported as slot-1 as you can see. Attachments:

Hi Aquamac! It did not work. The screen just goes black and the graphic card stops sending signals to the display just before the graphics should load. I attach a screenshot from system profiler. One card (The one in slot 5) seems not to be properly identified and is shown as "display". Is the system trying to send the signal to the display through the card in slot 5 instead of the card in slot 1? Attachments:

Well, that's weird as it works for me: Do you definitely have your card in the right slots. 1st card in slot (next to the processor) and second card in slot 5 that is the 3rd BLUE slot - second from the outside edge of the board. What happens if you leave your card in slot 5 and remove your card from slot 1? Attach your monitor to it and try.

Could you please send me your DSDT-file for this board? Derpuma solved this problem (I think it is the same problem) on page 13 in the DUAL-string thread by applying the windows2006 DSDT hack. However, I am unable to find the lines he speaks about in my DSDT.
I will test with a card in slot 5 only today or tomorrow and report back.

Hi Aquamac! I tested the very same EFI-string with only one card in slot 5. It did not work and the graphic card was reported as "display" as you can see. In the next post is a screenshot from windows 7 which I think should prove that the graphic card is in the correct slot. Attachments:

Hi again! I found that the PCI-adress of the card in slot 5 was wrong in the last in-plist-file you sent me. In the file it was PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x3,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0). According to the output of gfxutil -f display with just one card inserted into slot 5, it should be PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x3,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0). I changed it and now it works as you can see. Will now test with cards in slots 1 & 5 and report back. Attachments:

Hi Andek661
Good, at least we now know that the strings are correct for the two cards. I will be interested to see if both slots work for you. Did you do the windows 2006 modification to your DSDT yet?

With two cards inserted into slot 1 & slot 5, Leo freezes at boot with the very same in.plist file which works both for a single card in the slot 1 and for a a single card in slot 5.After reomving the kext-files, the system profiler correctly identifies both cards, however. No, actually I do not find the corresponding lines in my dsdt.dsl. I will try to use your or Derpumas DSDT. Attachments:

Hi Aquamac! I succeeded in applying the windows2006 DSDT hack and now it works with two cards in slot 1 and 5 as you can see. Note the different order of the cards in the system profiler. Attachments:

Great, can you post up both your new DSDT & in.plist here please and I will see if I can add in the 3rd card. I need to find out some more info on what this windows 2006 hack is actually doing as well. This board has not been able to support 3 cards but I wonder if the hack has changed that?

Of course! I will post them here. It would be great if it could work with three cards. Attachments:
