Thanks! That would be great! I have tried to look in the file dsdt.dsl for a way to disable the middle card or both the middle and lower card, but my knowledge too limited.

andek661, Try this: rapidshare.com/files/327179680/P6T6_3_x_GTX_280_slot_3_disabled.zipHope it works - can't remember how I did it. If it does not work let me know and I will try something else. You will need to make the output file in Leo again and overwrite your device properties string. Hopefully all 3 cards will show in system profiler, but only cards in slot 1 & 5 will work which is the max I got to work on P6T6.

Hi Aquamac! It did not work. The system freezes at boot both with or without the middle card. When I go into single-user mode and remove GeForce.kext, NVDANV50Hal.kext and NVDAResman.kext, I can boot, but of course without QE/CI. However, when I go into systemprofiler, I see only two cards now, and the middle card is not showing up anymore.
One question, when I run gfxutil -f display it shows different outputs when I have only one card in my primary PCI-slot than when two or three cards are present. Could this be the cause of my problems?
Thank you for your effort! I really appreciate your help!

When I have only one card physically plugged in, the output is PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x7,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0) and when I have two or three cards plugged in, the output is PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x3,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)
Shouldn't gfxutil -f display give the same output (i. e. the PCI-adress for the card driving the display) regardless of the number of cards plugged in? Can this be fixed?

Hi Aquamac!
This one freezes too, one line earlier, during boot.
Is it possible to change the output from gfxutil -f display in some way, so it is consistent? Would this solve the problems?

Hi again! With the attached in.plist and out.hex, Leopard did not freeze at boot, but instead gave me a black screen with the graphic card going to sleep as the graphics should be loaded (of course, unwakable). I do not understand these plist-files. By comparing the in.plist-files you so kindly supplied me with, I tried to hide also the last card resulting in this file. Two still shows up in system-profiler after removing the three above-mentioned kexts from /System/Library/Extensions. I suspect it has some connection to the strange output from gfxutil -f display. Hope you can help me sort this out. Attachments:

Go back to what was working. Plug 1 card into the slot 1 and one card into slot 5 and get back to seeing both cards in system profiler and post a screen shot of system profiler here with the original in.plist I posted here. I am sure you said that worked. rapidshare.com/files/324235337/P6T6_3_x_GTX_280.zip

Hi Aquamac! I have remade the test now and I am posting the screenshot here. It is in swedish. I didn't test any programs or actually run anything that requires QE/CI and I am a bit unsure wether it actually works or not. I tried to open a chess-program, but it froze (The program, not the system) With some drivers, it boots and with some not. As you can see both cards show up in the system profiler. As you understand, I am a n00b at this. Attachments:

Hi andek661,
Your system profiler tells me that Quartz Extreme is Unsupported (thats what "stods inte" means -Yes?). Do you have any GeForce.kext files missing or NVDAResman.kext?
In your System/Library/Extensions folder you should have the following all with the correct permissions:
GeForce.kext GeForce7xxxGLDriver.bundle GeForce8xxxGLDriver.bundle GeForceGA.plugin GeForceVADriver.bundle NVDANV40Hal.kext NVDANV50Hal.kext NVDAResman.kext
Can you confirm that you have all of these in place please.

When I try to add these it either freezes or causes corruption when moving around windows. NVDANV50Hal.kext, NVDAResman.kext and GeForce.kext are not present in /System/Library/Extensions when taking this screenshot.

You will not be able to get your system to work without them though. You will need to start with just one card in slot 1 and get these kexts working and then work from there.

Hi Aquamac! Thank you for helping me! Using the first plist-file you sent to me (P6T6 3 x GTX 280), the system booted in 1680x1050 (The maximum resolution my screen supports) with only one card physically plugged into slot 1 and I obtained the following screenshot from the system profiler. With two cards plugged in, it does not work this well. The screen just goes black and I have to remove the above-mentioned kexts. Has this something to do with the fact that gfxutil -f display gives different outputs depending on if I have one card physically plugged in or if I have more than one? Hope you can help me sort this out! Is it possible to change the output from gfxutil somehow or is a DSDT-hack needed? Attachments:

Right, that is good, with one card in slot 1 we have graphics acceleration. The reason you are getting a black screen is because the slots are messed up. If you notice, your card is reporting slot 5. This is incorrect. Slot 1 is the one closest to the cpu. I am hoping that is where you have the card. Basic framebuffer does not work with the GTX range of cards so if the string is wrong in any way, you will get a black screen. Please download the following string and with just one card in slot 1 (nearest the CPU) can you post a pic of system profiler now confirming you have graphics acceleration and slot 1 showing. As the slots are messed up in the string I have been thinking I have been working on one slot when in reality, I am working on the wrong one. rapidshare.com/files/327832686/P6T6_3_x_GTX_280.zip
